Brazilian Chocolatiers Scent UK Success

Varega is proud to announce that we have been selected by Rio de Janeiro based chocolatier, Aquim Gastronomia s.a., to represent them in the UK.

Originating in the state of Bahia, North East Brazil, the cacao used to make the company’s chocolate is grown on a single ‘fazenda’ ( farm ) and follows a number of delicate processes before finally being crafted into Aquim’s iconic ‘Q’ brand.

Offered in luxury packaging that features Brazil’s Atlantic rainforest flora and fauna, ‘Q’ will be presented to a select group of London department stores, hotels and restaurants.

In addition to its chocolate business, the Aquim family is one of the leading event organisers in Rio de Janeiro, catering for a host of upscale clients at venues such as the Copacabana Palace hotel.
