Rugby World Cup Sevens Russia: Meet the Organisers and Reception

Partner company Major Events International announces that The Russian Ambassador will be hosting the leadership of the Rugby World Cup Sevens competition taking place in Russia this year offering the opportunity for companies who want to know more about the status of plans and the chance to meet the officials. One to one sessions for potential sponsors will take place during the afternoon.

Guests will be invited to hear the briefing and this will be followed by networking drinks. In the words of Vyacheslav Kopiev, the President of the Russian Union of Rugby, “Russia’s ambition is to become a major player in global Rugby both as a host country and on the field of play.”

The event will be hosted by His Excellency, The Ambassador and following his opening remarks Vyacheslav Kopiev will be introduced by Roger Munnings, the Chairman of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce and by Roger Lewis, Group Chief Executive of the Welsh Rugby Union. Varega will join the guest list which will include a number of international rugby players, representatives from Russian companies based in London as well as UK companies with an interest in supporting international rugby.
